The 407 shear is one of JMC’s most popular shears. These machines are incredibly versatile and can not only be used on a range of metals, CATs but also tyres.
Based on the 16” (407mm) blade 407 shear, the main feature on the improved 407i is the new pivoting blade guard system which is easier to use than the existing guard, and gives better visibility for the operator. Although the 407 shear has always been fitted with wheels, the 407i is also equipped with forklift lifting points on the body of the machine to facilitate movement of the shear both within the yard and during transportation.
